Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
The Irish are known as storytellers, back to the great Bardic traditions up through lyrical poets and incredible authors today. In my own family, there are quite a few people who can definitely keep a captive audience with made up stories or stories from their past. And once I started getting into mythology, I’d heard about my great-grandmother who came over here from Ireland and how she would keep her daughter up at night with stories of the bean-sidhe.
So. Here’s to keeping that trait alive and well in today’s hectic world when sometimes we don’t take enough time for stories.
