Happy Valentine’s Day!

I celebrated Valentine’s Day, or rather I guess Valentine’s Day eve, by trying my hand at making cheesecake. While I love cooking and baking, I’ve yet to make a cheesecake, let alone the New York style chocolate cheesecake I decided to try. But it was with excitement that I went out to finally purchase a springform pan and the ingredients, even going back to the store for a third pack of cream cheese (I needed 2.5 packages, and had only bought 2).

And it turned out tasting like it should. My only complaint is I would have liked it to be a little more aesthetically pleasing, but you know what they say. Practice makes perfect!

Hope you all have a nice Valentine’s Day, however you’re celebrating it.

  1. Yummy! I enjoyed making cheesecake the few times I have done so, try pumpkin cheesecake for the fall. Glad you had a relaxing and decadent day. 🙂

  2. Yum! Pumpkin cheesecake? Let me know if you have a specific recipe, I may have to try that in the fall. And of course, I’ll definitely be trying cheesecake again to try to perfect it. 🙂 Thanks Jules!
